Narian-Mar

Narian-Mar (in Russian: Нарья́н-Мар ; in Nénètse: Няръянaмар, literally " rouge" city;) is the administrative center of the autonomous okoug of Nénètses, in the Oblast d' Arkhangelsk, in Russia. Narian-Mar is a seaport and a river port, on Right Bank of the Pétchora, to 110 km of the Mer of Barents. Narian-Mar is in the north of the Arctic Circle, in the south of Andeg and the east of Oksino. Its population rises with: 19200 inhabitants in 2007.

Narian-Mar was founded in 1935 because of the construction of several factories.
