Napoleon Legendre

Napoleon Legendre (1841-1907) is a writer, a lawyer and a Canadian civil servant.

Native of Nicolet, it studied with the Collège Sainte-Marie of Montreal then entered to the bar in 1865. His/her father François Legendre was the lord of Saint-François.

Author of several tests and works, it collaborated in the review fantastic Canada , wrote for Calixa Lavallée and became member of the royal Société of Canada. He was the first to write the biography of Emma Albani in 1874.

Deceased the December 16th 1907, the town of Montreal named a street in its honor.
