Nanchang

Nanchang (南昌; Pinyin: Nánchāng) is the capital of the province Jiangxi in China. It counted nearly two million inhabitants in 2006. One speaks the dialect there about Nanchang of the gan.
History
At the beginning of the 20th century, Nanchang was characterized by its revolutionary tradition. Zhou Enlaï ordered the revolt of the 1927 there (see rising of Nanchang).
Economy
In 2005, total GDP was of 100,8 billion Yuan S, and the GDP per capita of: 22390 yuans. It is the city of the porcelains and ceramics.
Administrative divisions
The city-prefecture of Nanchang exerts its jurisdiction on nine subdivisions - five districts and four counties :- the district of Donghu - 东湖区 Dōnghú Qū ;
- the district of Xihu - 西湖区 Xīhú Qū ;
- the district of Qingyunpu - 青云谱区 Qīngyúnpǔ Qū ;
- the district of Wanli - 湾里区 Wānlǐ Qū ;
- the district of Qingshanhu - 青山湖区 Qīngshānhú Qū ;
- the county of Nanchang - 南昌县 Nánchāng Xiàn ;
- the county of Xinjian - 新建县 Xīnjiàn Xiàn ;
- the county of Anyi - 安义县 Ānyì Xiàn ;
- the county of Jinxian - 进贤县 Jìnxián Xiàn .
