It is thought that the primitive borough was not on its current site, but rather in Humborg " old man bourg". Throughout the decades, the situation developed and we know that at the 17th century, there were as many inhabitants in Humborg with the borough. After the Revolution, Napoleon had like first concern of bringing back religious peace in the campaigns. The advertisement of the Legal settlement signed between the the Vatican and the French government is accommodated with satisfaction. The new bishop of Valves Mgr Mayneaud de Pancemond convenes the priests of the diocese to make knowledge and to reorganize the diocese in 37 cures. Concerning Naizin, the parishioners not having accepted the new limits, the things remained in the state as before the revolution.
Several missions were preached in Naizin, into 1869,1875,1885.
In Naizin as in all Brittany, a strong opposition appeared with the application of the law of separtation of the church and the state. March 6th, 1906, more than 300 parishioners of Naizin awaited the receiver of Locminé which had great difficulty to carry out its inventory. The goods of the factory were estimated at 15310 francs.
In 1920, the Recteur Pédronno created a sports association, Before Guard with a brass band and a football team which functioned until 1986. Missions were preached, in 1924,1934,1949,1954 and 1971.
The school of the girls to the convent saw the day in 1874 thanks to the Marquis de Langle who yielded a ground to the sisters of Kermaria. The school continued to receive pupils until 1983, it closed definitively, then was demolished in 1998.
The old presbytery, splendid masonry, had been built in 1895, under the ministry for the Recteur Moing. The brother Théodule Guével de Plouharnel, then directing of the Saint-Angels of Pontivy carried out the plans, for total costs of 15975 francs. During the separation of the goods of the Church and State, the commune becomes owner then. In 1908, after negotiations the rent was fixed at 125 francs per month. In 1936, the old presbytery dating from the 18th century collapsed. It was built in the place a kitchen with a stage, in appendix of the presbytery. Many solutions were studied by the municipality to rehabilitate this residence, but alas the worst of the projects was retained, the demolition.
