Nailbomb
Nailbomb is a group of thrash industrial Metal formed by max Cavalera when it was Chanteur and Guitariste of Sepultura and by Alex Newport of Fudge Tunnel.
Nailbomb is group founded in 1994 It should be noted, that this project was to only be one studio project, which was not to last longer than an album. Max and Alex did not want that Nailbomb becomes " big" , as many groups of the time, for then becoming a caricature of itself. The disc live was recorded only because of the passion of the young public. Nailbomb was a project of défoulement for max Cavalera and Alex Newport. According to, their remarks, it acted of a discharge system moreover to express their dislike vis-a-vis a world or there are too much injustice, violence and endoctrination. Nailbomb leaves its first album, Point Blank , the same year is 1994. Point Blank really marked industrial metal with the sauce Ministry, Meathookseed (members of Obituary and Death Napalm). As envisaged the group will separate little from time after the exit of " Commercial Proud to Commit suicide". Then in end of the year 1995, following internal arguments concerning managing of Sepultura (Gloria/wife of max) max Cavalera will leave Sepultura then will found the Soulfly formation. Still today, of young formations admit being influenced by the work of Nailbomb. Dino Cazares, of Fear Factory, plays on the part " 24 hours bullshit" , song which underlines the vacuum of the tele programs, which return somnanbules of the hordes of good citizens!!
