Nagant

The firm Factory of weapons Emile and Leon Nagant was established in 1859 with Liege in Belgium.

Emile (born in 1830) and Leon (born in 1833) Nagant were two brothers. They are universally known for their contribution to the creation of the weapon Mosin-Nagant which was very used in Russia as of 1891. That then led to creation in 1895 of the revolver Nagant M1895. Emile, who became gradually blind, left his brother alone to the orders of the company which was famous L. Nagant & Co, Liege. The company, directed then by Nagant and Nagant, was liquidated in 1928 and the production line of the weapons was sold with the Fabryka Broni Radom

Production of cars

The company also developed in automotive engineering. The company carried out under license of the cars of the French firm Ratchet-Schneider of 1900 to 1927-1928. The firm was taken again by Impéria in 1931.
