Nagamasa Asai
(born in the 1545, dead on August 28th, 1573) was the Daimyō of the Province of Ōmi, and the third and ultimate controlling Clan Asai.
He married the sister of the daimyō Nobunaga Oda, Oichi, and had with her a son and three girls.
But later, it was combined with the Clan Asakura against Nobunaga Oda. This last demolished them both at the time of the Bataille of Anegawa in 1570.
During the summer 1573, Nobunaga Oda besieged its castle with Odani. Not having any chance to leave victorious the situation, Nagamasa Asai decided to make a seppuku, in order to save the life as of his. His/her son had passed by the wire of the sword, but his wife and her daughters had the safe life and could join the Clan Oda.
