Naftal (rear RTL نفطال) is a company Algerian subsidiary with 100% of Sonatrach. It is in charge of the distribution of the oil products on the Algerian market.

History

Exit of SONATRACH, company ERDP was created by the decree N° 80/101 of April 6th, 1981.

Entered in activity on January 1st, 1982, it is in charge of the industry of the refining and the distribution of the oil products under initials NAFTAL.

In 1987, the refining activity is separated from the distribution activity.

The company name of the company changes following this separation of the activities and NAFTAL is from now on in charge with the marketing and the distribution of the oil products and derived.

From 1998, it changes statute and becomes Joint stock company subsidiary to 100% of SONATRACH.

NAFTAL has as a main mission, the distribution and the marketing of the oil products on the national market.

It intervenes in the fields:

of enfûtage LPG
of the formulation of bitumens
of the distribution, storage and marketing of the fuels, LPG, special lubricants, bitumens, tires, GPL/carburant, products.
of the transport of the oil products
