It is born in 1958 with Bad Djedid, with the Casbah of Algiers. Brilliant interpreter, it would be originating in the surroundings of Cherchell, then raises with El-Mossilia, but it gives up its musical studies. El-hane OAU Chabab , the emission of Television devoted to the young talents, reveals it with the public in 1973, whereas it was only fifteen years old. By the hot and fine stamp of its voice, it introduces a note of freshness into the interpretation of the Hawzi . Its duets with Chaou ( El Waldine and Kahwa or Latey ) and Kouffi ( Yassadni and Lazem Tedbir ) will not pass unperceived. However, almost the totality of its career remains marked by two personalities: Mâati Bachir for the composition ( Aâmrat Indian millet , Lqit Lghzel , El Mouhami , etc) and Saloua for the councils. It leaves teaching to be devoted to the music and its hearth. She will insist on the fact that the reasons of its withdrawal are “voluntary and personal”. However, it will take again the song in a discrete way and settled with Marseilles (1996).
