NX Bit

Appeared initially on AMD64, this function dissociates the execution of the data and the instructions in memory, protecting the system from the virus and Trojan using the faults of the type Dépassement of plug: for example, a program “malicious” like the Worm Blaster, makes accept the system which it sends of the data, whereas it sends corrupted code.

Intel took again this function by re-electing it XD bit, in its architecture Intel 64 (in the past EM64T), equivalent to architecture AMD64.
