NWA World Heavyweight Championship
The National Wrestling Alliance (NWA) World Heavyweight Championship is the primary title of Catch of NWA. It is the first " World Heavyweight Championship " history, which traces its line of George Hackenschmidt and Frank Gotch with their respective title in 1905 and 1908.
With much of " territoires" through the the United States, the NWA was formed in 1948 like general body controlling wrestling. Like franknesses, these territories were under the banner of the NWA. The owners of the federation were to recognize the weight-heavy world champions and by team of the NWA as world champions. Currently under the direct control of the National Wrestling Alliance, the title was the center of interest of many federations in the past, including the World Championship Wrestling and Total Nonstop Action Wrestling.
