NRJ Music Awards

The NRJ Music Awards , created in 2000 by the radio station NRJ in partnership with the chain of Télévision TF1 take place every year with the mid- January with Cannes (PACA, France) as an opening of MIDEM (International market of the music publishing). They reward for the popular musicians in various categories. The emission was presented by Ophélie Winter in 2000, the Humoriste Québécois Anthony Kavanagh between 2001 and 2006. The edition 2007 was presented by Arthur.

Each year are rewarded for the musicians in the following categories:

NRJ reserves the right to choose 5 nominated in each category and then subjects them to the vote Net surfers on his site. In fact, the winners are designated according to a system where a jury established by NRJ and TF1 weighs to a total value of 25% in the decision and the public with 75%.

The event is the occasion each year to leave a compilation with the nominated ones.

The NRJ Music Awards accommodate a crowd of international celebrities and are abundantly dissected in the media of various countries of the world. They make it possible NRJ to make a great blow of publicity and to be posed as partners impossible to circumvent of large the recording companies.
