NRC Handelsblad
NRC Handelsblad is a Quotidien evening Dutch. Daily newspaper of high-quality, often regarded as élitiste. Political tendency: liberal.
The newspaper is the product of a fusion, on October 1st, 1970, between the Algemeen Handelsblad (Amsterdam) and the Nieuwe Rotterdamse Courant (Rotterdam). This title belongs today to the group of éditon PCM Uitgevers N.V which has also the titles De Volkskrant , Algemeen Dagblad and Trouw .
In February 2006, NRC Handelsblad launched a newspaper of the morning to the format compressed tablet: nrc.next . This daily newspaper aims at an educated assistantship which does not read the press the every day.
In terms of diffusion, it is the fourth daily newspaper of the Netherlands, after De Telegraaf , Algemeen Dagblad , De Volkskrant .
