NGC 7635

  • Natural : nebula diffuses

  • Distance : 11300 Al

  • with a telescope of 200 mm

Not far from M 52 is a star Magnitude 8 which is surrounded by a gas bubble expanding. This Nébuleuse results from the matter expulsion caused by the strong pressure of radiation of star. It measures approximately 8 light-years in diameter. NGC 7635 was photographed with a wealth of details thanks to the Space telescope Hubble, but it is an object very difficult to see. A telescope of at least 200 mm proves necessary to hope to guess a weak gas shell around the star SAO 20575 . But its own halation added to that of another star, magnitude 7, located more at the west, obstructs the observation considerably. Better is worth to have an instrument of 400 mm or more.
