Nông Đức Mạnh
Nông Đức Mạnh (born on September 11th, 1940) is the general secretary of the Vietnamese Communist party since April 22nd, 2001. It was confirmed at this station in April 2006.
Its official biography describes it like wire of peasants of the ethnicity Tay, born with Cuong Loi, District of Na IH, Province of Bắc Kạn. It joined the revolution in 1958. It is allowed with the Vietnamese Communist party on July 5th, 1963 and becomes official member on July 10th, 1964.
In June 1991 he becomes member of the politburo PCV then president of the National Assembly Vietnamese in September 1992.
Rumors held it for the son of Hồ Chí Minh. In April 2001, after its selection with the head of the PCV, a journalist required of him to confirm or contradict the rumors. He answered All the Vietnamese people is the son of the uncle Ho . In January 2002, he again contradicted the rumor with a journalist of Time Asia , by adding that all the vietnmaiens regarded Hồ Chí Minh as their spiritual father.
He is regarded as a reformist and announced that he wanted that Vietnam becomes an industrialized country from here 2020.
