Néron (Isere)

The Néron , sometimes called Helmet of Néron because of its form pointing out that which a Roman helmet, is a mountain of the Massif of Chartreuse culminating with 1298 meters.
At the time of the Heat wave of the summer 2003, it underwent a fire of several weeks, rather rare phenomenon for the area. The fire was probably caused by the lightning. The dryness made it possible fire quickly to be spread.
