Négresco hotel
The Hôtel Négresco is prestigious and luxurious “a de luxe hotel - art gallery permanent” founded in 1912 by Henri Négresco, style Baroque Belle time on the Promenade of the English of Nice vis-a-vis the Baie of the Angels of the the Mediterranean on the road of the seaside of the Riviera. It is property of the couple Paul and Jeanne Augier since 1957 (one of the rare de luxe hotels deprived in the world) and classified Historic building since 2003.

The Négresco Hotel is located in the middle of the Promenade of the English at Nice at the n°37 at 6 km from the Aéroport of Nice and 1 km of the Vieux Nice and the Port of Nice
History
Henri Négresco
Henri Négresco, wire of landlord, was born in 1868 with Bucharest in Romania.In 1883, 15 years old, it leaves its country to go to work with Paris, with Monaco then with Nice where he became the director of the Casino Municipal and famous for its exceptional direction of hospitality. Billionaires, kings and princes of Riviera such that the Famille Rockefeller swear only by him and make its fortune.
In 1912 it makes build the Négresco Hotel by Edouard Niemans, one of best the Architecte S of the moment, to accommodate there its faithful customers of large fortunes of planet.
Jeanne Augier
In 1957 Paul and Jeanne Augier (born Mesnage), Politicking and Business man niçois and his impassioned wife of Art, repurchase the de luxe hotel and a “de luxe hotel of it - permanent art gallery makes”.Jeanne Augier exposes to it many works of Art a little everywhere in the living rooms, the rooms, the continuations and the corridors. Old works (Hyacinthe Stone, Pierre Mignard, François Butcher, Joseph Siffred Duplessis…) and modern (Yvaral, Raymond Moretti, El Salvador Dalí, Sacha Sosno, Niki de Saint Phalle, Victor Vasarely, Monique Gastaud…)
