Néferkarê (IIe dynasty)

See also: Néferkarê

Néferkarê or Âaka is a king of the Egyptian woman thinite. He succeeded Sneferka and preceded Néferkasokar. Manéthon calls it Nephercherès (or Chairès ) and counts twenty-five years of reign to him. The papyrus of Turin counts seventy years of them to him.

One locates his reign of -2724 at -2719 (von Beckerath).

Its position in the dynasty is still dubious today. No worked object gone back to its reign survived so that the localization specifies of this king in the dynasty remains impossible.
