The benign nævus , more commonly called not or beauty spot , is a small spot of generally circular or oval form, located on the Peau. It consists of cluster of cells mélanocytaires located in theory in the basal layer of the skin (more rarely in the Derme), which give him its more or less brown color. Congenital giant naevus

Rare anomaly of the process of Embryogenesis, the giant naevus Congénital consists of a cutaneous zone where the mélanocytes are concentrated, which can exceed in the cases the sand-gravel mixxest 80% of the surface of the skin; it is often accompanied by multiple beauty spots of small size. Except for some rare cases, it does not decrease in proportion during the growth of the child and often covers hairs. Except the esthetic problem, there exists an increased risk to develop a melanomist. The treatment by Greffe of skin is recommended as of the first months of the birth.

Nævus de Becker

The nævus of Becker, mélanose of Becker or harmatome of Becker, not very frequent, is a more or less pigmented spot, but typically clearer than an ordinary beauty spot, which appears with puberty or adolescence consecutively with a traumatic exposure to the sun during childhood on a predisposed ground (abnormal cellular distribution during embryogenesis).
