Nâdiya

Nâdiya , of its true name Nadia Zighem , born with Turns the June 19th 1973, is a French singer , of Algerian origin . Nadiya has a Yanis son 7 years.

Biography

Nâdiya is resulting from a family of Algerian origin and has several brothers and sisters. It becomes in 1989 champion of France junior of the 800m. His/her brother Kader Zighem is world champion of French Boxe.

At 20 years, it leaves its family and the sport and goes up to Paris to try its chance. She is noticed in the emission Graines of star and records individual in 1997 which is not appropriate to him. She then prefers to stop all and has a child: Yanis.

Its influences

The influences of Nâdiya are with the root very Soul (Aretha Franklin, Barry White…) With the arrival of the R&B and Hip Hop, it tends to move towards these styles of music. Nevertheless, she says to prefer the hip hop with the R&B because of the more male and marked sound. She also draws airs in the classical music, in particular at Chopin (Valse COp 64 n° 2) for her title Enemy Amies .
