Mystery-Falcon

Mystery-Falcon is the initial name of the series of business aircrafts to engines built since 1963 by the French manufacturer Dassault Aviation. In 2005, Dassault Aviation holds with this range 40% of the worldwide market of the Aviation of business.

At the end of 2005, more than 1500 Falcon Dassault were in exploitation, including 60% in North America.

History

It is into 1954 that the research department of Mérignac considers a first project of Biréacteur of businesses under the name of the Mediterranean . In 1971, Frederick W. Smith, young contractor American imagines the concept of the fast transport of air cargo of night. It chooses finally Falcon 20 and orders 33 specimens of them. It is with these only planes that Federal Express train Corporation was born and functioned successfully during 10 years. It is not that in 1982 qu ' it replaced them by of Boeing 727 and the Douglas DC10.

Another American success of Falcon 20 was the sale of 41 apparatuses to the US Coast Guard in 1977.

In 1974, Dassault installs the factory of assembly Dassault Falcon Jet in the United States with Little Rock, Arkansas where convoyed planes " green" (in annealed glass painting) from France, will receive their final equipment and installations like their painting external according to the requests of the customers.
