Mysterio

Mysterio is super-unpleasant pertaining to the universe of Marvel Comics. Mysterio was created by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko in Amazing Spider-Man #13.

Biography

Since his childhood, Quentin Beck always dreamed to make cinema. He wanted to be realizer or actor but he was too ugly to be a star, then he played in the roles of extraterrestrial or of monsters and dealt with the special effects. Become Master in this art, he noticed that " Quotidien" (today " Daily Bugle") ridiculed Spider-Man and regarded it as a criminal. He thinks that to stop it would make good publicity, alas, the weaver never had enfreint the law. He thus disguised himself in Spider-Man and dévalisa a bank. Spider-Man, fortunately, was present and discovered its new enemy then: Mysterio, a man equipped with a grinding combination equipped with a cape, gloves launchers of gas, shoes rebounding or armed with gas also but it is especially capped with a bottle on the head.

Spidey put an end to its intrigues and it was found in prison, but it became " accro" with this play: to try to beat Spider-Man. It erected scaffolding several plans to beat it but was overcome each time.

It was engaged by the Doctor Octopus within the Sinistres Six. But in spite of that, it could not never have the advantage on Spider-Man. It even was overcome and humiliated by the 4 young children of Power 4!

With the wire of time, its gadgets became more sophisticated and its more real special effects, but it became also increasingly cruel. It developed a brain tumor and a lung cancer, because of the products which it used. There remained to him only one year to be lived and he sought to eliminate Spider-Man. But learning that it was only one clone, it changed target: Daredevil, which he sought to make insane.

However, uncovered, it committed suicide in front of the Man without Fear, after having urged Bullseye (the Gunner) to kill the great love of lawyer, Karen Page.

It was then Daniel Berkhart, a former betrayed associate of Beck, which took again the role of Mysterio

Capacities

Quentin Beck was a specialist in the special effects and illusions optical. It used machines and chemicals for concocter its plans.
It was a good stuntman, trained, and who could fight.
It had learned art from conjuring and hypnotism.
Its costume was equipped with holographic projectors, and various gas capsules.
