The myrmecology is a science related to the Entomologie specialized in the study of the Fourmi S.
The names of ants are often given according to famous myrmecologists - for example, the kind Donisthorpea owes its name with Horace Donisthorpe, Forelius with Auguste Forel, Janetia with Charles Janet, Wheeleriella with William Morton Wheeler.
