It is a species nocture with the slow flight.

Distribution: All Europe, North Africa and Asia to Japan.

Habitat: wooded places and park near water levels.

Food: small insects in flight or in the trees.

Reproduction: gestation from 50 to 60 days, only one young person per annum, births in June - July.
