Myotis nattereri

The murine of Natterer or vespertilion of Natterer ( Myotis nattereri ) is a Chauve-souris Myotis .

It is a species nocture with the slow flight.

  • Distribution: All Europe, North Africa and Asia to Japan.

  • Size: body from 7,5 to 9,5 cm

  • Scale: 22 to 27 cm

  • Weight: 6 to 12 G

  • Habitat: wooded places and park near water levels.

  • Food: small insects in flight or in the trees.

  • Reproduction: gestation from 50 to 60 days, only one young person per annum, births in June - July.

  • Longevity: up to 16 years
