Myome

The myome is a benign Tumeur made of muscular fabric. One differentiates:

  • the rhabdomyomes consisted of striated muscular fabric, very rare;
  • and, the léiomyomes , or liomyomes , consisted of muscular fabric with smooth fibers, as in the uterine léiomyome , often called wrongly, fibrome uterine.

The myome uterine is the name given to the disease which is characterized by the formation of myomes. The fibrome never degenerates into neoplasy (malignant tumor). In general, the fibormes are due to an excess doestrogenes. This progesterone excess can be to associate with a progesterone defect. The uterine mucous membrane, because of hyperoestrogénie, is weakened and inflammée, it thus will bleed facilment, one thus observes menorrhagia. The treatment thus consists of a progesterone contribution either to mitigate the lack of progesterone or to decrease the secretion of estrogen during the second part of the menstrual cycle (phae secretary).
