Myocastorinae
It is Florentino Ameghino (1854-1911) which created this subfamily in 1902. It includes/understands one kind: Myocastor Kerr, 1792. This one includes/understands, also, only one species: Myocastor coypus (Molina, 1782) or Coypu.
