Myllokunmingia
Myllokummingia is a primitive kind of fish Agnathe of the lower Cambrien of small size (28 mm length), whose fossils were found in the Schistes of Maotianshan in China. Regarded as one of the Vertebrate first , the animal resembled somewhat the myxine, a modern fish agnathe. Myllokunmingia seems to have had a cranium and structures of skeleton made of Cartilage, just like the lamprey. There is no sign of biomineralisation in the elements of the skeleton.
One knows only one species of it: Myllokunmingia fengjiaoa (Shu, Zhang & Han).
