Mylène Farmer International Fan-Club
First historical Fan club of the singer Mylène Farmer, the Mylène Farmer International Fan-Club , also known under the Sigle MFIFC gathered some 10.000 subscribers in 37 countries between 1995 and 2001, date of its discontinuance of business.
History
Created in 1995 by Jean-Rémy Gaudin-Bridet and Michael Mouilleron, Mylène Farmer International Fan-Club is an evolution of Mylène Farmer Fan Club of the West founded in 1992 by Michael Mouilleron. Managed by the Association law 1901 Raven Inc, the MFIFC published Fanzines available only by subscription.
Installed initially with Batz-on-Sea, then Nice, it was established with Paris between 1998 and 2001.
Between 1995 and 2001,30 numbers were published, of which some in limited editions and numbered.
Anecdotes
Many personalities close to the star granted interviews to the fanzines MFIFC of which Khaled, Marcus Nispel, Abel Ferrara, H.R. Giger or Paco Rabanne.
With the support of the staff of the singer and Art for Art Artist Management, the MFIFC organizes at the beginning of March 2000 the MF Official Fan Turn during which admirors of the star could support their idol at the time of the dates that this one gave to Moscow and Saint Petersbourg in Russia.
This Fan-Club will make it possible to make known new artists of which the singers Robert (via the distribution of its second album Princesse of nothing in 1997 and creation the Robert Unlimited Sound Fan-Club in the tread) and Ysa Ferrer ( Ysa Ferrer Pop Kosmic Club ).
End of Mylène Farmer International Fan-Club
In 2001, the creators decided to stop the fan club. Competition between different the fanzines had resulted in to make the photographs more expensive and the singer had become less tolerant with the way in which its image was used.
June 17th, 2001, the MFIFC ceased its activities.
