My Own Private Idaho is a film written and carried out by the American director Gus Van Sant in 1991.
Synopsis
Mike Toilets (To rivet Phoenix) and Scott Favor (Keanu Reeves) are two friends constrained Toxicomane S prostituer to survive.Mike is Homosexuel and suffers from crises of Narcolepsie: it with obsession to find his/her mother who mysteriously gave up it…
Scott, as for him, is the son of the Maire of Portland, a man whom he hates, and which seeks to impose a future very traced to him.
Whereas Michael leaves to the meeting her brother, he confesses to his best friend than he likes it, but Scott, affirms being Hétérosexuel to him. During a voyage in Italy, to Rome, where it intends to find Sharon Waters, Scott fall in love with Carmela (Chiara Caselli) and gives up his/her buddy.
For Mike it is the end, Scott became the new mayor of the city. He disavowed his last life and his friendships.
The last words of Mike imply that it considers its future only like male prostitute, recluse, always haunted by the narcolepsy and the dream to find the love true. In vain.
