Myéloperoxidase

The myéloperoxidase is a active Enzyme halogénodependante against E. coli and L. acidophilus for pH acids (= 5). The addition of Peroxyde is not necessary for Lactobacillus since this last produces it itself. The most effective Halogène is the Iode (I), followed Brome (Br) and Chlore (Cl); the Fluor (F) is ineffective.

2HX + H2O2 = 2:00 2O + X2

X2 + O- (leucocytic) = 2XO- (hypo-halogénite = anti-bacterial agent)
