Muxhe
A muxhe or muxé is, in the culture of the Zapotèques of l´ State d' Oaxaca, a man who s´habille and acts like a woman. The word comes from the Spanish word of the 16th century for woman .
A study of 1974 estimates that 6% of the men of the community are muxhes. They are socially accepted like a additional kind. Some marry and have children, d´autres prefer to choose a man like partner.
