Mutterstadt

Mutterstadt is a German city of the district of the Rhine-Palatinat, located in the Land of the Rhineland-Palatinat, to approximately 7 km in the south-west of Ludwigshafen. It counts approximately 12.413 inhabitants.

History

The oldest known mention of the city dates from year 767, among the monastic files of Lorsch.
