Mustapha Ferroukhi
Mustapha Ferroukhi (December 15th 1922 - August 17th 1960) is resistant and a politician Algérie N, it died in an air crash in 1960.
Born with Miliana, Mustapha Ferroukhi joined MTLD (1947 - 1954) after its studies with the Médersa of Algiers. He is opposed in the middle of the years 1950, with the leader of the party, which pushes it to join the camp known as of the " centralist ". At the time of the crisis berberist which took place in 1949, it lines up at the side of Rabah Bitat, Ahmed Boudia and Hocine Lahouel. Wanting the independence of the Algeria, it is arrested and imprisoned in 1954 by the French authorities in the prison of Serkadji. It is then assigned with residence in its birthplace, Miliana. Thanks to FLN, it succeeds in fleeing and leaving for the France where it ensures the responsibility for the federation of the FLN before joining the Tunisia. To flee the French police force, it leaves with his wife and her children on August 17th, 1960 towards Moscow, but its plane which was to go in China crushes in the surroundings of Kiaf, in Ukraine.
With Beijing it was to occupy the post of ambassador of the Algerian Provisional government. Ferroukhi was also the founder of the newspaper " the voice of Algeria " newspaper which it created with Abdelhamid Mehri. The currency of the Algerian republic, “ by the people and for the people ”, would have been taken again of a leading article signed by Ferroukhi in its newspaper.
