MusiquePlus
MusiquePlus , property of Astral Media, is a television channel of Montreal. Founded in 1986 by Commercial Pierre, it becomes the first French-speaking specialized chain. During the first two years, it diffused Toronto starting from the studios of MuchMusic, its during english-speaking.
Avangardist, the chain adopted a nonconventional style at the time. The camera was constantly moving and showed VJs (organizers) under several angles.
In 1997, Astral Media founded Musimax, which aimed the adults earlier. Now, the dimensions of listenings of MusiMax exceeds those of Music More.
In the beginning, the programming consisted mainly of the diffusion of video clip, but during the subsequent years, the programming evolved/moved. It now offers emissions varied such as American and Québécois TV-reality ( Hogan rightly , Pimp my tank , stiff Fou , Mike Ward Show , the Private clinic of Marc Boilard , Laguna - spoiled rotted and several others), interviews with local and international artists ( Infoplus , Plus on order , the artist of the month , Exposé , BO2 ), an emission on the video games ( M.Net ) and from the presentations of videos clip ( video Rotation , Top 5.com , The Calculation, the Ultimate Combat of the Clips , Bright burning coal egg , Pop ! , etc) the chain also proposes emissions of weekly entertainment such as the Large Show , Tévé Tourista and, now, an emission of transformation, My Old men Very New , where children register their parents so that they undergo a transformation.
