the Musicians of Bremen is a tale of Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm.

History

In a village located not far from Bremen, a miller saw one with his ass. But this last taking of the age, its Master decides to get rid of him. The ass then decides to leave for Bremen in order to engage in the municipal Orchestre. In way, the ass meets a Chien become too old for the hunting whose its Master wanted to get rid. He then proposes with the dog to go with him to Bremen. In way, the ass and the dog meet a Chat and a Coq in the same situation that they and their propose to follow them on the road of Bremen. One evening, the four animals discover a house inhabited by robbers. Decided well to take their place, they débarassent robbers thanks to a stratagem. After the disappearance of the robbers, the ass, the dog, the cat and the cock decide to move into the house.
