A musical (pl. of the musicals ) is a term of Anglo-Saxon origin, employed all over the world and in particular in France to describe all Live performance (on scene or filmed) integral in its unfolding the marriage of the Chant, of the Musique, the Danse and the Théâtre.
The term is rather new in the French landscape, but under the impulse of Matthieu Gallou, it is to date met more and more in the place of the usual expression: Musical comedy.
the company Stage Entertainment recently established in France has just produced with the Madness-Shepherdess: Cabaret “musical of Broadway the, live one” in its French adaptation, and will produce starting from autumn 2007, the King Lion “musical of Broadway the, live one with the Mogador theater” there too in its French adaptation.
The musicals are essentially interpreted by general-purpose artists, controlling various arts, which one could qualify in English of performers . Musical French and French-speaking person are currently in full rise.
