Museum of the battle of August 6th, 1870 of Wœrth

The Musée of the battle of August 6th, 1870 is located on the commune of Wœrth, in the Département of the Low-Rhine.

Weapons, uniforms and documents are presented around the table of Edouard Detaille, evoking the legendary battle known as “Bataille of Reichshoffen” of Wœrth - Frœschwiller.

Access to the tower of the castle out of elevator, from where there is a splendid panorama on Wœrth and the battle field of 1870.
