Museum of the Saar

Founded in 1920, the Museum of the Saar (Saarlandmuseum) is a grouping of collections distributed on several sites in Saarbrucken:

• the " Alte Sammlung": collection of old art

• the " Modern Galerie": modern art gallery
• the " Museum in der Schlosskirche": museum of the church of the Castle
• the " Stadtgalerie Saarbrücken": contemporary art gallery
• the " Museum für VOR und Frühgeschichte": archaeological museum
• the " Deutsches Zeitungsmuseum": museum of the German press
