Museum of the Art schools of Boston
The Museum off Fine Arts of Boston, in the Massachusetts, is one of largest the Musée S of the the United States. The institution was founded in 1870 and opened in 1876, after having borrowed a large part of the collections of the Boston Athenaeum. The museum moved in its current buildings of the Huntington avenue in 1909.
The entry with the museum is paying, but the members paying a right of subscription can reach it at will.
Operation
Approximately: 1500 people work voluntarily for the museum. The missions of voluntary are varied: to ensure the promotion of the cultural institution in the city, to deal with the counters, to guide the visitors in the museum, etcAll the pupils of the level CM2 of the New England profit from a free visit of the museum. The museum accommodates some: 60000 children each year.

The Museum of the Art schools of Boston presents a remarkable Egyptological collection gathering nearly 45000 objects. One of its works headlights is undoubtedly the statue of Mykérinos and his wife coming from Gizeh.
