Museum of Islamic Arts of Malaysia

The Musée of Islamic arts of Malaysia (IAMM) open the December 12th 1998 is the largest museum of Islamic art in Southeast Asia. The museum, located at Jalan Lembah Perdana in the middle of Kuala Lumpur, extends on 4 stages and covers a surface of 30,000 m ². The museum decorated by craftsman with Iran and Ouzbékistan shelters 12 galleries and is decorated by 5 domes representing the 5 pillars with the Islam. It contains 6  000 parts of Islamic arts including 200 Handwritten S and the largest model in the world of the Masjid Al-Haram. The construction of the museum cost 70 million.
