Museum of Bourail
The museum of Bourail is a museum recalling the history of the Bagne in New Caledonia. One can in particular see there one of the last Guillotine S in perfect state, the last execution on this guillotine goes back to 1940.
Various windows recall the history of the town of June 1867 and the creation of the small port of Buraï until the end of 1944 and the New Zealand presence on Bourail at the time of the Second world war.
