The museum Jeanne-in Arc is a private Musée created street of Crosne in 1953 on the initiative of Roger Parment with Rouen and recalling the life of Jeanne d' Arc.

History of the museum

In 1958, the museum Jeanne-with Arc was taken again by André Préaux and moved a few meters more far from its site of origin, on the Place of the Old man-Market, in the vicinity immediate of the Bûcher where Jeanne d' Arc was burned. It is currently the son of André Préaux, Alain Préaux, which is the manager of the museum.

Exposure

The Museum Jeanne-with Arc makes it possible to better know the history of Jeanne d' Arc, of her birth in 1412 (with Domrémy) with its death in 1431 with Rouen. It is a museum of Cire (the characters are out of carved wax). A Crypte makes it possible to better include/understand the time of the Guerre One hundred Year old. The visit lasts between 30 minutes and an hour.
