The museology is the discipline which gathers sciences and technology of the Musée: management, research, conservation, the classification, the development of the objects, works or inheritance (collections), animation, etc She studies in particular the history and the social function which one allots to the museums (research, education, etc). It should be distinguished from the Muséographie, which gathers the whole of the techniques of graphic design and physical realization of an exposure.
