Hydrography

The grounds of the commune are sprinkled by the Bidouze, which feed the Adour, and by its affluents, the Pagolla Uraitza (16,2 km), Ihityko Erreka and Chorizako erreka.
The Abarakia brook (and its affluent the Lachartia brook), which emerge further in the brook Arangorena (12,5 km), also crosses the commune.

History

Musculdy was in 1385 the place of reconciliation of the lords of Gramont and Luxe (Pays of Mixes), obtained by the king de Navarre Charles II known as the Bad . A vault was built to officialize peace between the two parties
