Muscular dystrophy of the belts

The muscular dystrophies of the belts includes a group of diseases neuromusculaires which affect primarily the voluntary muscles located around the area scapular (shoulders) and of the pelvic area (hips). The various muscular dystrophies are different according to:

  • the old one of occurred
  • Of the clinical demonstrations being able to reach the heart
  • genetic criteria
  • Of the modes of transmission
Current classification is based on the genetic analysis and of proteins in question.
