Muscatel
Muscat indicates a whole of Cépage S whose Raisin S have muscatée aromatic quality; there are many varieties, energy of the pale Jaune to the Bleu - Noir. Their Vinification is always rather delicate.
All the Muscat type of vines, that they are Blanc S or red S, which they are Cépage S of tank or Cépage S of table, which they are Vitis will vinifera or type of vines Hybride S, are characterized by their muscaté Arôme.
The muscaté flavor

The Muscatel of Alexandria, or Muscatel with taste of dry Grape S. It can produce a Sweet aperitif wine having a fine Saveur, a silky Consistance, a Fruité exquisite. All these Cépage S as well produces Vin S muscatés, whose Parfum is sought more and more by the Consommateur, in the wines of Liqueur as in the dry wines and even in the effervescent wines.

The Muscatel of Alexandria, or Roman Muscatel, produces Moscatel of Spain (Moscatel de Paja-Rancio) and of the Portugal (Moscatel of Setubal), the Muscatel of Sicily (DOC. Moscato di Siracusa, Moscato di Trentino, Moscato di Noto (Mousseux), Moscato di Pantelleria (passito or sparkling wine).
There exists also the Syrian Muscat, (or Jesus Muscatel) which presents a aromatic Parfum of Fleur of orange tree.
Let us announce that the Muscatel of Cyprus, produced with Raisin S reds or white, is dry with an alcoholic content from 11 to 17% without Addition of alcohol after Fermentation, Demi-sec with a content alcoholic higher than 15%, soft with a content of Sucre of 1,5 with 12° Baume and an alcoholic content from 15 to 23%.
