Murder in Mésopotamie ( in Murder in Mesopotamia , in the British original version ), is a police Téléfilm of the televised series Hercule Poirot , carried out by Tom Clegg, on a scenario of Clive Exton, according to the novel Meurtre in Mésopotamie , of Agatha Christie.

This telefilm, which constitutes the 48e episode of the series, was diffused for the first time the July 8th 2001 on an American television channel , several months before the first British diffusion (in 2002).

Intrigue episode:

Poirot and the Hastings captain is on a journey in Mésopotamie. During a stay in an archeologist, his wife complains in Poirot about threatening letter. The woman of the archeologist is assassinated… Poirot will have to dig its invaluable meninges to solve this incredible homicide to which a series of sordid events follows. It is the first time that Agatha Christie uses the acid chlorydric as arms… the effects are horrible… a good episode turned well to see urgently for the fans of the large Belgian detective
