Synopsis

The history of the murder of Matha Moxley, beautiful American exit of the young jet set of the Years 1970, will be elucidated only 25 years after, by very discussed Mark Furhman, a former police officer reconverted as a writer with polemic.

Greenwich, Connecticut. Whereas the Doors and the Rolling Stones are with their apogee, the young person Martha Moxley is assassinated in the garden of his neighbors in mysterious circumstances, the October 30th 1975. The 3 young men of the vicinity are quickly suspectés by the police force: Tommy Skakel pertaining to the local aristocracy, therefore untouchable; Morris Banks, tutor of the first and Robert Mathers, ideal suspect because not corresponding to the profile of the established middle-class. But for lack of evidence at that time, no inculpation took place and the file was buried. The business remakes surface in 1997, when Mark Fuhrman, old policeman of disgraced Los Angeles and reconverts as a writer, goes on the spot of the crime to try to establish the truth. But it understands soon that the local elite does not hold to make all the light on this crime and that its presence is not desired in this corner of paradises where Skakel are close relations of the Kennedy. However, Mark and Steve take again the business with its whole beginning, supported by the mother of the late one. They at the time question the police officers in faction, always also not very talkative and co-operative. Following a conversation with the medical examiner having established the autopsy, it concluded that the murder could not be made at the hour indicated in the police reports where number of part misses… of which the weapon of the crime.
