Murad V
Mehmed Murad V (September 21st 1840 - August 29th 1904) (in Arab: مرادالخامس), nephew of Abdulaziz, wire of Abdülmecit Ier was sultan of the Ottoman Empire for three months of the May 30th 1876 with the August 31st 1876.
Biography
The reign of Murad V was shortest of the Othoman history. It was replaced then imprisoned by his brother Abdülhamid II following a crisis of madness which only appeared momentary. He thus lived as a prisoner until his death, that is to say during approximately 28 years, in the palate of Çirağan.
