Muppet Show

Muppet Show ( The Muppet Show ) is a Televised series américano - British in 120 24 minutes episodes, created by Jim Henson and diffused between the September 25th 1976 and the August 6th 1981 on the network ITV 1. In France, the series was diffused starting from 1977 on Antenne 2.

Synopsis

This series, presented by Kermit the frog in the role of the theater director, proposes a succession of sketches and musical numbers carried out by the puppets of the troop (the Muppet S) around a Guest star human, resulting from the cinema world, theater or music.

  • the puppets of the Muppet Show , created by Jim Henson, initially appeared in Sesame Street , a famous American emission intended for the children.
  • When at the beginning of the the Seventies, Jim Henson proposes the Muppet Show , it does not find producers interested by the project. At this point in time he addresses himself to Sir Lew Grade, producer British of the Prisonnier , which, filled with enthusiasm, launches out in the project.

  • a third series - Frenchwoman - entitled Muppets TV and produced by Sebastien Cauet was diffused in the form of 5 minutes a daily short program and of a weekly emission from 30 to 35 minutes between the October 29th 2006 and the December 31st 2006 on TF1. For lack of audience, only 10 episodes were carried out.
